Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and collaborates with licensed physical therapists to manage treatment plans and functional progress. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation and participating in departmental process improvement and educational activities.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program and possess a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Illinois. Additionally, a BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
