Key Responsibilities

The Clinician will provide one-to-one services onsite at the jail facility, conducting assessments, providing brief treatment focused on symptom management and crisis intervention, and supporting competency restoration training. Responsibilities also include documenting services and collaborating with clinical, ancillary, and security staff.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to serve adults involved in the justice system who are mentally ill and deemed incompetent to stand trial. The role involves facilitating early access to mental health services, rapid stabilization, and efficient competency restoration.
