Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in an acute care setting.

• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans addressing ADLs, mobility, cognition, safety, and functional independence.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case management, physical therapy, speech therapy, and interdisciplinary care teams.

• Provide patient and family education regarding functional status, safety, equipment needs, and discharge recommendations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Current Occupational Therapist license in NJ.

• NBCOT certification required.

• Acute care experience preferred; new graduates with acute care fieldwork considered.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $40 - $70.40/hour

• PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness).
