The Kanvwotiyi team provides residential substance use treatment, counseling and recovery support to individuals receiving care at our residential treatment program near Robbinsville, NC.
In this role, you will work alongside Clinical Supervisor, licensed professionals and other members of the residential treatment team to help deliver coordinated, high-quality care in an environment where relationships are at the forefront of everything we do. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates well, pays attention to detail and contributes positively to a team.

What We Are Looking For
A Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor who excels in this role will help residents build a foundation for recovery through compassionate, individualized support.
Under the supervision of an appropriately licensed professional, you will conduct screenings and assessments, collaborate with residents to develop personalized treatment plans, and provide individual, group and family counseling.
You will also educate residents and families about substance use and recovery, support relapse prevention, provide crisis intervention, and coordinate referrals and aftercare with other providers and community resources.
This work requires timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record and a commitment to confidentiality, professional ethics and culturally respectful care.
