Job Summary
The Prisma Health Physician is responsible for the provision of quality medical services to patients of Prisma Health-University Medical Group
NEUROLOGIST: (Prisma Health University Medical Group – Greenville, SC) Examine and evaluate patients to diagnose and treat neurological disorders and conditions; order and interpret lab analyses and imaging tests; perform procedures including lumbar punctures, electroencelphalograms, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests; develop treatment plans; and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and care.
Requirements: MD/DO/foreign degree equivalent in Medicine; completion of Neurology Residency (48 months); Neurocritical Care Fellowship (24 months); Board certification/eligibility in Neurology; and SC license/eligibility.

Key Responsibilities
The neurologist is responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating patients with neurological disorders. They will perform specialized procedures and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed a 48-month Neurology residency and a 24-month Neurocritical Care fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in Neurology and a South Carolina medical license are required.
