Job Summary
This is a full-time on site position for a free-standing Medical Imaging facility. Main responsibility to ensure safety of patients while receiving contrast injections. Previous experience working in imaging/radiology is a plus.

Essential Functions of Onsite Nurse Practitioner
- Escorts patients to various exam rooms.
- Starts IV lines when needed.
- Has direct oversight and supervision of contrast patients.
- Assures that all safety questions and measures have been taken.
- Ability to have clear and direct communication with Technologist and patients.
- Ability to recognize and react to potential contrast reactions.
- Provides guidance and support to team members to assure patient safety.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to support the team.
Education and Experience
- Current NP Certification
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification

Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for ensuring patient safety during contrast injections and providing direct oversight of patients in a medical imaging facility. They will also assist with IV line placement, monitor for contrast reactions, and provide guidance to the clinical team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current Nurse Practitioner certification along with active ACLS and BLS certifications. Previous experience working in imaging or radiology is considered a plus for this role.
