- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
- Location: NovaCare in Owings Mills, MD
- Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri), some evenings until 7 PM
- Compensation: $30.00 - $36.00 /hour
NovaCare in Owings Mills, MD, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. New graduates are welcome to apply. You must have your MD license to start. Our large team treats a diverse population and offers a variety of specialty services, including neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports, amputees, oncology (ReVital), pelvic health (CoreVia), FCEs, a Fall prevention and ACL program, and general orthopedics.
We have several outpatient locations throughout Baltimore and adjacent Carroll County open to steady part-time or as-needed/per diem coverage.

Responsibilities
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
