The Case Manager Substance Use Counselor serves as the primary support and case manager for individuals with mental illness, focusing on substance abuse and addictions. This role assists clients in living as independently as possible within their chosen community.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED along with a relevant addiction counseling certification (CADC, CATC, or SUDCC levels) and six months of experience in an addictions setting. Additional requirements include maintaining all certifications, learning billing codes, possessing CPR/First Aid/CPI certification, and having a valid driver's license with personal vehicle access for client transport.
