Key Responsibilities

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership and medical expertise across AHS departments to ensure operational alignment and quality improvement. They oversee clinical standards, forensic programming, and complex case management while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree with Board Certification in an ABMS-approved specialty and a current Vermont medical license. At least five years of clinical practice experience and demonstrated success in a medical management leadership role are required.
