Job Details: Job Location: Harlem - New York, NY, Position Type: Per Diem, Salary Range: $65.00 - $65.00Hourly, Job Shift:.003, Job Category: Occupational Therapy, Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Occupational Therapist (Per Diem) to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem Hospital.

Opportunity Details: The Department is part of a 280-bed acute care facility that includes the ICU, BICU, NICU, PICU, CCU, step-down floors, and ambulatory services. Treats patients on the acute and/or ambulatory services. Assists with maintaining treatment equipment and ensuring a safe environment for the patients.
Maintains accurate record of patient evaluations, progress, recommendations, and goals. Supervises student interns and volunteers as assigned. Assists the supervisor or chief in preparing daily stats. Participates in the clinical education program for student therapists by mentoring a student intern.
Educates patient and/or family regarding the occupational therapy aspects of diagnosis, treatment plan, and prognosis in an appropriate manner.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy program with a BS or higher in Occupational Therapy Current NYS License Pediatric or ICU experience a plus Benefits include: 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings.

Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor's degree or higher. A current New York State license is required, and experience in pediatrics or ICU is considered a plus.
