Physical Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist, potentially assisting in treatment plan development and documenting patient progress. This role also involves providing age-appropriate education to clients and caregivers, as well as supervising and taking responsibility for the care provided by identified team members.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. This position is full-time, day shift, in an outpatient setting, with initial coverage required across several Northern Virginia locations before transitioning to a new clinic opening.
