Key Responsibilities

The Mental Health Counselor provides professional therapeutic services, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group therapy for patients and families. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care, manage crises, and maintain timely, accurate documentation.

Requirements

A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field is required, along with 2-4 years of experience in a mental health setting being preferred. Candidates must possess required state licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LPC) and maintain Basic Life Support certification and SAMA course completion.
