Key Responsibilities

Evaluates patient outcomes making changes in plan of care within the multidisciplinary team.

Provides explanation/instructions to patients and/or responsible persons and insures understanding with regard to respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures and discharge.

Accepts Reassignment to other units when necessary.

Shares clinical knowledge with staff and students and is a role model for clinical practice.

Salary: $57,595 - $89,274/year

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree and possess valid RRT and RCP State of Illinois certifications. Additionally, CPR and NRP-MHC certifications are required, with the latter to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
