Job Description

Optim Orthopedics is seeking a full time Occupational Therapist for our Savannah location. 

Job Requirements

* Assesses patients and develops treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other clinicians.  The therapist will be treating a caseload that is primarily upper extremity orthopedic

* Responsible for initiating and follow through on regular communication with Optim staff and management.

* Assists patients to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. Helps patients to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning ability and to compensate for any permanent loss of function to reach the goal of having independent, productive, and satisfying lives.

* Follows Optim Therapy policies related to compliance, safety, and infection control.

* Assists patients to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. Helps patients to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning ability and to compensate for any permanent loss of function to reach the goal of having independent, productive, and satisfying lives.

* Documents patient treatment and outcomes in medical record per Optim Therapy policies

* Performs necessary tasks as needed and assigned to ensure clinic and department compliance and satisfactory patient care.

Education

* Minimum Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from accredited school. 

Experience

* Prefer minimum two years of experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic setting.

Other Requirements

* Current GA state occupational therapist license, successful completion of national certification examination. Current CPR certificate.
