School Based Therapist, LSW or LPC

Join NATIONAL YOUTH ADVOCATE PROGRAM as a School Based Therapist, LSW or LPC in Newark, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate individual, group, and family mental health therapy, case management and other professional services.

• Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family, including mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.

• Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.

• Required to travel daily during summers and extended breaks to provide community-based services to youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory.

Requirements

• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with parents (families of origin and/or foster families), teachers, administrators and other school staff.

• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $60.5K - $63K

• 22 days PTO.
