Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
Provide music therapy according to patients’ plans of care, assess their needs, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Use personalized musical techniques to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort, while documenting sessions and collaborating with the care team.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an accredited program is required, along with certification, registration, or accreditation from a recognized music therapy organization. Candidates must be able to pass background, consumer report, and drug screening checks.
