What You'll Do
- Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will:
- Provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care
- Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, function and independence
- Collaborate with the PT, nursing staff, patients and families
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication
- Educate patients, families and facility staff as appropriate
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/post-acute rehabilitation setting
What We're Looking For
- Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
