Behavioral Health Technician

Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician supports the therapeutic milieu by supervising patients, maintaining safety, and ensuring the delivery of the daily program. They also assist the nursing staff with patient care tasks, documentation, and crisis intervention as needed.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have strong organizational and communication skills. Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility is preferred, and CPR and de-escalation certifications are required within 30 days of employment.
