Job Summary
Provides prescribed pharmaceuticals for a designated patient population.
Required Education
Graduate of an A.C.P.E. accredited college of pharmacy.
Required Licensure
- License to practice pharmacy in the state of Mississippi.
- Registered pharmacist in good standing with other current states of licenses, if any.
Required Experience: None
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Knowledge of pharmacy practice.
Knowledge of specialized skills required in a hospital practice. Clinical knowledge adequate to perform drug utilization evaluations and clinical interventions.
Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist provides prescribed pharmaceuticals to a designated patient population within the hospital. They are responsible for performing drug utilization evaluations and conducting clinical interventions.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an A.C.P.E. accredited college of pharmacy and hold a valid license to practice in Mississippi. No prior experience is required, but clinical knowledge relevant to hospital practice is essential.
