Key Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for the accurate and compassionate delivery of radiation therapy treatments and simulations to patients. They work in cooperation with the clinical team to prepare patients, operate equipment, and maintain high standards of care and safety.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Illinois Emergency Management Administration (IEMA) license and possess or be eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification. A degree from a JRCERT/AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology program and current CPR certification are also required.
