What We Need

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee compliance with medical gas licensing requirements in Kentucky. This role is ideal for a pharmacist looking for flexible, PRN work with a focus on regulatory oversight and compliance.

What You Will Do

Ensure compliance with Kentucky Administrative Regulations related to medical gas licensing, including 201 KAR 2:225.

Conduct quarterly onsite visits of our Skokie, IL office to review records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for secure storage and handling of medical gases.
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare for inspections by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

  • Active pharmacist license in Kentucky and in South Carolina
  • Experience in regulatory compliance, particularly with medical gases, is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and apply regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
