Key Responsibilities

This role involves being part of the Children in Care Service, delivering excellent services to children in care across Leicestershire, and building strong, long-lasting relationships with children and their families. The work is focused on making a positive difference to the lives of children and their families through child-focused social work practice.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a Social Work degree or equivalent, along with experience in statutory child care social work covering safeguarding, child protection, and care proceedings. Essential requirements also include knowledge of relevant legislation and practice models, and holding a full, valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
