About the Role

Join OSU Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist – Part-Time Days in United States. The Registered Respiratory Therapist reports to the shift supervisor/manager. Capable of setting up and operating various types of equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and or illness.

Work Schedule

Part-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist sets up and operates diagnostic and treatment equipment, administers respiratory gases and medications, and responds to hospital emergencies. They also analyze blood gases, educate patients on home equipment use, and assist with transporting mechanically ventilated patients.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Oklahoma RT License and current BLS certification, with an Associate Degree being preferred but not strictly required. Experience of 0 to 1 year is preferred for this role.
