Key Responsibilities

The Periodontist will diagnose and treat periodontal disease while performing surgical procedures such as gum grafts and dental implants. They are also responsible for developing comprehensive treatment plans and collaborating with general dentists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a DDS or DMD degree with specialized training in periodontics from an accredited program and possess board certification. A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-residency and active state dental licensure are required.
