Other Qualifications
Ability to perform and interpret ultrasounds required. On-site assignment. Delivery capabilities preferred but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient maternal-fetal medicine consultations.
- Perform and interpret obstetric ultrasounds (Level II, echocardiography, etc.).
- Manage high-risk pregnancies including diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disorders, etc.
- Provide backup call coverage for obstetrics, with weeknight and weekend beeper call.
- Collaborate with OB physicians and other specialists in managing complex maternal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient maternal-fetal medicine consultations and manage high-risk pregnancies including complex maternal conditions. Perform and interpret obstetric ultrasounds and provide backup call coverage for obstetrics.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified Physician with an active Alaska medical license and DEA registration. Requires proficiency in performing and interpreting Level II ultrasounds and managing high-risk obstetric cases.
