Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), Licensed Psychologist to join our Crisis Team, providing life-changing services through our Walk-In Clinic (WIC).

The Walk-In Clinic serves individuals of all ages experiencing a self-defined behavioral health crisis, offering assessment, intervention, safety planning, referrals, and placement coordination 8:00 a. m. to 11:00 p. m.

Schedule. This position is fully Onsite/In-person, working 4 x 10 hour shifts. Available schedules are: Sunday - Wednesday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Sunday to Wednesday - 12:30 pm - 11:00 pm Salary for this role. Wage is based on years of licensure and company equity.

Shift differentials available for certain shifts. Licensed Therapist: $32.47 - $44.48 per hour. Licensed Psychologist: $47.83 - $61.23 per hour.

Schedule. This position will work Sunday - Wednesday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, at the Potomac Pavilion.

Salary for This Role. Wage Is Based on Years of Licensure and Company Equity.

Shift differentials available for certain shifts. Licensed Therapist: $32.47 - $44.48 per hour. Licensed Psychologist: $47.83 - $61.23 per hour.

Shift Differential Pay.

The Day weekend shift differential is paid from 7 am to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays only; the Swing shift differential is paid from 3 pm to 11 pm; and the Overnight shift differential is paid from 11 pm - 7 am Day Weekend (Sat, Sun): $2.50 Overnight Weekday (Monday - Thursday): $4.25/hour Overnight Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday): $6.25/hour Swing Weekday (Mon-Thurs): $2.75/hour Swing Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun): $4.25/hour Essential Functions: Facilitate recovery and optimal quality of life in clients with behavioral health concerns, by providing clinical services, case management and education.

With the client, create and carry out a consistent plan of treatment, from intake and assessment to closure. Conduct diagnostic assessments, individual, family and/or group therapy with assigned clients. Develop and monitor treatment plans; update at required intervals.

Consult with internal and external professionals and collaterals to ensure access to needed services and proactive coordination of care. Provide clinical case-management services as needed. Provide crisis intervention as appropriate.

Provide comprehensive clinical services designed to decrease symptoms and improve quality of life. Assist clients to evaluate strengths and symptoms, and set their own goals. Guide and instruct clients in coping skills. Offer consultation to community partners and providers.

Ensure that billing information is up-to-date for assigned clients. Seek insurance authorization for services as required. Write reports and other correspondence, as necessary, and with appropriate releases.

Complete all requests to provide the necessary information and undertake the required activities to ensure timely and ongoing credentialing with third party payers. Staff member will monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients care team.

Qualifications

Requirements: Master's degree in human services field for a Licensed Therapist or a Doctorate in psychology for a Licensed Psychologist. At least two years of clinical experience providing care, including conducting individual, family and/or group therapy.

Professional licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PSYD) – or equivalent licensure in another state with the intent to transfer.

Colorado Licensure Requirement: If you currently hold an out-of-state license, it is a condition of employment that you obtain the appropriate Colorado licensure through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) within 30 days of your hire date.

Must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain one within 30 days of hire. Knowledge of theories and evidence-based practices related to clinical treatment. Ability to learn and utilize an electronic health record with proficiency.

Solid comprehension of mental illness and treatment modalities within multidisciplinary approach. Knowledge of DSM-V. Ability to comprehend and effectively respond to all client presentations and crisis situations. Ability to document interactions with clients, other agencies and mental health professionals.

Required Vaccination and TB Test. At AMHR the health and safety of our clients and staff are our top priorities. As part of this commitment, all employees are required to receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and present a negative TB test result before their first day of work.

Proof of both the flu shot and a negative TB test must be provided on your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions can be requested if necessary.
