You’ll conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and ensure individuals are connected with the right resources at the right time. This is a role for someone who brings both clinical skill and genuine empathy to every interaction

Continuing Education Provided: We offer up to 24 hours of continuing education each year to support licensure maintenance—an investment in your professional growth that can save clinicians over $1,200 annually in CE expenses.

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional counseling services with a high level of autonomy
• Complete psychosocial and mental health assessments to guide treatment
• Diagnose and support patients and families through therapeutic interventions
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Offer education, counseling, and crisis support as needed
• Connect patients with appropriate community resources and social service programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote holistic, patient‑centered care

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Counseling from an accredited institution
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• State licensure required based on degree
• Must hold at least a graduate‑level license
• LCSW‑C licensure from the Maryland Board of Social Workers required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of counseling principles, practices, and professional standards
• Knowledge of community organizations and social service programs
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Skilled in building rapport, supporting families, and navigating sensitive conversations
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care
