Key Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans in accordance with statutes, regulations and protocols regulating the profession.

• Collaborates with the Medical Doctor, staff psychiatrist, nursing staff, therapists and any other member of the clinical team.

• Provides primary care health services, education, counseling and emotional support.

• Issues medication prescriptions in accordance with treatment guidelines.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies required.

• Certificate or Professional License:

• Current Certification or eligible to be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center; certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician's Assistant (PA

• C); currently holding or eligible to obtain Prescriptive Authority in Indiana.
