The Sexual Health Counselor provides sexual health education, testing, and counseling using a sex-positive and harm-reduction approach. They are responsible for performing phlebotomy, conducting HIV/HCV/STI screenings, and navigating clients to medical care and social services.
Candidates must hold a phlebotomy certification or obtain one within 90 days and possess a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 2-3 years of relevant experience. A valid NYS Driver's License and experience working with marginalized communities are required.
