Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist coordinates and provides pharmaceutical care by collaborating with an interprofessional team to optimize medication use. They are responsible for managing drug therapy protocols, verifying medication orders, and educating patients and staff.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and possess a current license with the state Board of Pharmacy. BCLS certification is required, while ACLS is preferred, along with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
