About the Role
Join Jewish Family Service of San Diego as a Family Therapist – Hybrid, Full-Time in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide family therapy services with fidelity to the Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) model
- In collaboration with Intake Specialist, conduct ongoing assessments and pre/post surveys
- Develop and implement strength
- based family treatment plans
Requirements
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization as needed
- Identify and strengthen positive adaptive interactions, utilize BSFT strategies and techniques; and identify dysfunctional relational patterns and create relevant interventions
- Attend training and educational opportunities in the unique aspects of the culture, common family dynamics, or frequently seen issues of clients in program
- Complete documentation congruent with the Brief Strategic Family Therapy model, as well as ensure compliance with agency and contractual documentation expectations
