Key Responsibilities

The Certified Hand Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting while collaborating with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams. They also act as a mentor for staff and students while ensuring high-quality care and accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational or Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience. A current unencumbered license to practice in Connecticut and BLS certification are required.
