The social worker provides clinical services, including discharge planning and psychosocial assessments, to patients and families in the Emergency Department. They also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies to ensure safe patient care and effective resource navigation.
Candidates must hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program and obtain a New York State license within eighteen months. Prior clinical experience in a medical setting and supervisory experience are preferred.
