Key Responsibilities
The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate dispensing of prescription medications and the verification of labels and orders in a long-term care pharmacy setting. They also provide clinical expertise, manage controlled substance inventory, and supervise the preparation of sterile IV products.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active Pharmacist license and possess a Bachelor's degree or Pharmacy Doctorate from an accredited school. At least two years of acute-care experience or one year of production pharmacy experience is preferred.
