Job Description

Outpatient Pediatric and Adult Therapy | Lake Zurich, Illinois | Full-time, Flexible Schedule

Do meaningful work—with the flexibility and support to do it your way.

At Empowered Heroes Inclusive Therapy, we help children and adults with special needs build independence and confidence in everyday life through engaging, personalized care. We also support families throughout the therapy journey, so they never feel alone. Our therapists enjoy the flexibility and independence to do their best work while being part of a close-knit, supportive team.

Why Therapists Choose Empowered Heroes

Focus on therapy—not quotas or administrative pressure. Our therapists are not measured by KPIs for patient attendance, productivity, chart notes, or new patient recruitment. You’ll have the autonomy to create your own schedule, including the option to work Monday – Thursday with Friday’s off. There are no billing responsibilities; your focus is providing outstanding therapy and keeping your documentation current.

We’re seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to serve children and adults through creative, play-based, and functional interventions. You’ll help clients strengthen motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall quality of life. From improving handwriting and building social skills to increasing independence in daily tasks, you’ll join a team that recognizes and celebrates every milestone.

If you’re passionate about making therapy engaging, individualized, and effective—and you value flexibility, independence, and a supportive team—we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Strong clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and intervention techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and interdisciplinary professionals
