Key Responsibilities

The Speech & Language Pathologist interprets referrals, conducts comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and establishes/implements individualized written plans of care based on functional goals. Responsibilities also include monitoring outcomes, adjusting treatment, planning discharge, completing all required documentation following policy, managing caseloads, and adhering to productivity standards.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and maintaining continuing education as mandated by state standards, along with being a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of work. No prior work experience is required, but candidates must possess intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
