The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to address communication and cognitive impairments. They also collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to provide therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Additionally, they must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence and state licensure.
