The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor provides supportive counseling, monitors medication, and facilitates social interaction to assist adults with serious mental illness. They also respond to crises and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for clients.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates must have at least one year of relevant experience in a human services or behavioral health setting, or a related degree.
