Internal Medicine physicians examine adult patients aged 18 and older, focusing on proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of various medical conditions. Responsibilities also include ordering necessary tests, performing follow-up visits, interpreting basic medical tests and imaging, and making referrals to specialists when required.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved training program in the United States and must hold a license to practice in the State of Texas. Applicants must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
