Key Responsibilities
The Primary Care Physician provides medical assessments, evaluations, and treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues within a correctional facility. They also supervise medical treatment for chronic conditions and collaborate with the medical director to ensure efficient clinical services.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board certified in a primary care specialty. An active, unrestricted Indiana medical license and DEA registration are required, along with the ability to pass a background check.
