Additional Job Description

West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division seeks an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Professional (NP or PA) to join our team at Berkeley Medical Center, Urgent Care.

The Eastern Panhandle is growing and changing – and we are too. Practice medicine with the right people, for the right reasons.

Martinsburg, WV is in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia a little more than an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD close to 3 international airports.

A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the Washington DC / Baltimore areas make the Eastern Panhandle an ideal place in which to live. While Berkeley County is among the fastest growing counties in the state, there is little congestion and traffic.

In recent years, a steady influx of urban professionals from nearby Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland have contributed to the growth of local telecommuting and high-tech industries.

Today, the WVU Health System has more than 2,400 licensed beds, 3,900 providers, and nearly 30,000 employees. Anchored by a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown, the Health System includes more than 20 member hospitals that collectively serve a multi-state region that includes West Virginia, Western Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Southwestern Pennsylvania.
