Job Description
Obstetrician-Gynecologist
Founded in 1970, Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA) is a non-profit healthcare organization committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate and affordable healthcare services to communities experiencing healthcare disparities. Since 1970, GPHA has expanded to become one of the premier providers of ambulatory medical, dental and behavioral healthcare in the Greater Philadelphia area. On-site services include laboratory, pharmacy and language interpretation through interactive video and live interpreters.
Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. (GPHA) is presently seeking a full-time or part-time Board-certified or eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to
* Provide full-scope outpatient OB/GYN care including prenatal and postpartum care, Family Planning, and management of acute and chronic health issues.
* Provide standard outpatient GYN procedures, such as colposcopy, EMB, LARC, and IUD insertion/removal, LEEP and biopsies.
* Provide care as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team comprised of primary care clinicians (Pediatric, Internal/Adult Medicine, Family Medicine) and specialists (Endocrinology – Infectious Disease – Rheumatology – Podiatry). The healthcare team also includes medical case managers, nurses, and behavioral health therapists.
