Key Responsibilities

The respiratory therapist delivers and assesses ordered therapies while monitoring and documenting patient conditions in critical care settings. They also serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced staff and provide education to patients and families regarding cardiopulmonary disorders.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and hold a valid Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist. The role requires two years of clinical experience, including one year in a specialty area, along with current BLS certification.
