This is a part-time position for 16 hours a week (2 days per week onsite).

Job Description

• Prefer previous healthcare/senior living experience.
• Supports and delivers the highest level of nutrition care to patients to meet the customer’s overall needs.

Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for patients based on their overall nutritional status.

Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes

Comply with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents’ right policies and Joint Commission regulations.

• Collaborate with IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) to provide quality nutrition and culinary program
• Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies
• Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen
• Implement Health & Wellness initiatives

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of acute care or mental health and Registered Dietitian experience.
• Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
• Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
