Key Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist delivers ionizing radiation to patients according to the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. They ensure all procedures are performed in a safe and accurate manner within a clinical oncology setting.

Requirements

Candidates must be eligible for registration in Radiation Therapy Technology by the ARRT. A Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology course is preferred.
