Are you a Florida-licensed optometrist looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity? LC Eyecare in Port Charlotte, Florida, is seeking a dedicated optometrist to join our team one day per week in a per diem capacity.

We’re looking for a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a desire to deliver exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for both experienced ODs and recent graduates who value a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Please note, benefits are not offered for this per diem role.

What You'll Do

At LC Eyecare, communication is at the heart of our patient care. You’ll take the time to listen carefully and address each patient’s concerns; many of whom are seeking second opinions or need help troubleshooting their glasses or contact lenses.

You’ll conduct thorough exams using advanced equipment including the Maestro 2 Topcon Digital Imaging, NCT, Revolution EHR, and Topcon Auto refractor. Patients are scheduled every 15 minutes, allowing you to provide focused, individualized care while maintaining a steady patient flow.

Your clinical expertise and clear communication will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
