Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Physical Therapist for Acute Care

*Part Time Hours* - 20 Hours

6pm M-F, one weekend every 4 weeks, 1 summer & 1 winter holiday

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $103,376.00 - $149,115.20 annually.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is home to the region’s only Level III Trauma Center. Our 273-bed facility has a long history of commitment to our communities of Virginia Beach, Eastern Shore, and Northeastern North Carolina, offering specialized tertiary services as well as many advanced clinical services. The Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility and relieve pain for patients in an acute care setting. They are also responsible for providing education to clients and caregivers while supervising team members.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy and possess a valid Virginia Physical Therapy license. A BLS certification is also required for this position.
