Key Responsibilities
The Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in managing cardiopulmonary disorders. They also provide technical support for respiratory equipment and participate in the education of patients, students, and staff.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and possess a valid State of Michigan Respiratory Therapist License. Additionally, a Respiratory Therapist Registry (NBRC) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required upon hire.
