Respiratory Therapist (.6 FTE/Nights)

Franciscan Health Olympia Fields Campus 20201 S Crawford Ave Olympia Fields, Illinois 60461 The Registered Respiratory Therapist oversees the diagnosis, treatment, and care management of patients with pulmonary disorders.

This position uses a variety of testing techniques to assist doctors in diagnosing disorders, and determines requirements for treatment, such as type, method and duration of therapy, precautions to be taken, or medication and dosages, compatible with physicians' orders.

Qualifications Required Associate's Degree Required High School Diploma/GED Required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Required Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Prime Healthcare will add the 214‑bed Franciscan Health Olympia Fields Hospital and Franciscan’s Illinois operations, including Specialty Physicians of Illinois LLC, Working Well’s Illinois operations, Franciscan Health & Fitness Center Chicago Heights, Home Care, and Chicago Heights Walk-In Clinic, to its system.

This acquisition remains subject to customary regulatory review and approvals. We are currently awaiting the next phase of that process, with a targeted closing timeline anticipated in the coming months, subject to final approvals.
