Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing coordinated and comprehensive patient care, including assessment, setting expected outcomes, and implementing rehabilitation interventions for speech, language, and swallowing therapy within an interdisciplinary team framework. Responsibilities also include documenting treatments, evaluating patient response, participating in performance improvement, and potentially supervising students or interns.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications require current or temporary Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of service (MD, OH, PA, or WV), current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (or obtaining it within 48 months of hire), and obtaining Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. The role involves heavy physical work, including lifting and moving materials up to 40+ lbs.
